In this study, the dynamic responses under blast loading of carbon fiber reinforced aluminum alloy laminates with different curvature radii, numbers layers, and layer directions were compared numerically. The finite element models built ABAQUS/Explicit. To calibrate numerical models, experiments on curved modeled, results showed good agreement experimental data. calibrated used to simulate response cylindrical panels subject external explosion loading. stiffness degradation coefficient was introduced more accurately failure mode composite structures. deformation energy absorption structural parameters obtained. These simulation findings can guide theoretical study optimal design structures
